Overview

Lester Controls partnered with Jackson Lift Group to deliver lift control solutions across two separate London projects completed in October 2025. The works included the modernisation of an existing Otis Gen2 installation at Limehouse and the supply of machine room-less (MRL) controllers for a new installation at Silvertown.

Together, the projects demonstrate Lester Controls' ability to support both refurbishment and new-build applications with reliable, compliant and efficient control solutions.

The Challenge

Although different in nature, both projects required solutions tailored to their specific environments.

At Limehouse, the existing lift system required modernisation while maintaining functionality and introducing a dedicated firefighting lift compliant with EN81-72 standards.

At Silvertown, the project called for compact MRL control systems capable of delivering dependable performance and straightforward installation.

The Solution

Lester Controls supplied Almega II controllers configured to meet the unique requirements of each project, working closely with Jackson Lift Group to deliver reliable and compliant solutions.
